The speech pointed out that China’s agricultural foreign investment and cooperation has brought new opportunities for the development of the host country’s agriculture: first, it has increased the input and output of the agricultural sector, which is conducive to improving the food security of the host country; second, under the guidance of the concept of building a common community of human destiny, inclusive investment is conducive to improving the production capacity of smallholders, increasing income and getting rid of poverty; third, paying attention to investment in the whole industrial chain is conducive to improving the development of agriculture and related industries in the host country and improving self-development capabilities.

Finally, FECC put forward suggestions for enterprises’ foreign agricultural investment, that is, to explore the possibility of the sustainable cooperation effectiveness, actively explore the inclusive investment models like “park + company + farmer”, fend off business risks, optimize the industrial structure and industrial chain layout, and actively explore the international market in response to the “Belt and Road” initiative
